Holiday Celebration Menu

This complete, whole-food menu is perfect for any late fall or winter celebration! There is something that everyone will enjoy and takes the stress out of menu planning as I’ve included the shopping list below too! I hope this allows you to create something beautiful, nourishing, and special for you and your loved ones and that it inspires joy, connection, and lasting memories for years to come.

This menu serves 4-6 people but the individual components are great scaled up as side dishes to a larger meal as well!

Holiday Celebration Menu Shopping List

Ingredients

Produce

  • 1 large bunch carrots, 1.5 lbs / 700g
  • 1 large bunch kale 11oz / 300g
  • 1 lb. / 500g sweet potatoes, 1 – 2 small
  • ½ lb. / 250g oyster mushrooms
  • 2 medium red onions
  • 2 tsp. rosemary fresh or 1 tsp dried
  • a few sprigs fresh thyme plus a couple for garnish
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small knob of ginger
  • juice of ½ lemon

Pantry

  • 1 ¼ cup / 200g buckwheat flour
  • cup / 40g hazelnuts
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup / 120 ml + 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 3 Tbsp. cold-pressed olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 5 Tbsp. full-fat coconut milk
  • ¼ cup / 60ml vegetable stock
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 7 oz / 70g dark chocolate 70% or higher
  • cacao powder, desiccated coconut, cranberry powder or other red-pigmented powder, like beet or raspberry, optional
  • 3 drops food grade peppermint oil or to taste

  • flaky salt
  • fine grain sea salt
  • cracked black pepper to taste
  • chili flakes to taste
