Sunflower Seed Butter
Ingredients
- 3 cups raw, hulled, sunflower seeds
- cold-pressed olive oil optional
- fine sea salt optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 165°C. Spread seeds out in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Set a timer for 10 minutes and stay close by to make sure they don't burn. Give them a stir at the 10 minute mark to ensure even toasting and keep toasting if they are not yet golden.
- Set aside to let cool. Once cool to the touch add to the food processor and process 3-5 minutes or until completely smooth.
