Activated oats (or nuts, grains, seeds, legumes…) have been soaked over night to help to break down some of the hard-to-digest compounds in these foods and allow their full potential to shine when we consume them!
By freezing activated oats in ice cube trays, you have a perfect nugget to pop into the blender to make your smoothies rich, creamy, frosty, and super filling!
Activated Oat Cubes
- rolled oats, soaked overnight in filtered water and a splash of apple cider vinegar or squeeze of lemon juice
- Rinse and drain the soaked oats, pack them into ice cube trays, freeze, and store in the freezer!
Strawberry Tahini Smoothie
- Add everything to a blender, add water or plant-based milk to blend / as needed. Enjoy!
