One of my favourite foods in the garden and also one of the simplest ways to grow your own food, potted lettuce plants are an easy, exciting, delicious, and nutritious way to connect to your body on a deeper level. There’s nothing like a sweet and crispy lettuce leaf freshly picked that you planted from seed, watched sprout, and then cared for as it matured! A pot of lettuce is a beautiful gift to yourself or others and makes a perfect activity to do with children.
