Along with a slew of stress-busting b-vitamins from the nutritional yeast, you’ll be giving your body essential omega fats, that are unprocessed and deeply nourishing on a cellular level. You can also play around with flavour additions here: chili powder or cayenne makes a deliciously spicy topping, or use fennel seeds, dried herbs like basil, oregano, thyme, or parsley, etc. for an earthy-herby version. Let your imagination run wild!
Hemp Seed Parmesan
Ingredients
- 1 cup / 150g hemp seeds
- 1 cup / 40g nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp. fine salt
- ½ tsp. turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse-blend until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and the consistency is uniform. Taste and adjust seasoning to suit your taste.
- Use immediately, and store any leftovers in an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to one month.
