Ginger Turmeric Tropic Thunder Smoothie

This luscious, tropical smoothie eats like a meal, and will make a great go-to breakfast, or light lunch, or afternoon snack. The enzyme-rich combination of pineapple, banana, and lemon will aid digestion, the ginger and turmeric will combat inflammation, while the baobab aids liver detoxification. If you can’t find fresh turmeric, feel free to used the dried, powdered kind.

Ginger Turmeric Tropic Thunder Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup / 200g chopped pineapple fresh, not canned
  • 1 ripe banana frozen
  • knob ginger / 5g
  • knob turmeric / 2g+
  • ¼ cup / 30g hemp seeds
  • ½ cup water or plant milk of choice
  • 1-2 tsp. baobab powder optional
  • 1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth. Add more liquid if necessary.
  • Enjoy immediately.
