Miso Pea Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. / 500g green peas fresh or frozen
  • 3 Tbsp. tahini
  • 4 Tbsp. white or yellow miso
  • 2 spring onion whites and green tops
  • 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ΒΌ tsp. fine sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp. hemp seed parmesan if desired

Directions

  • Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Add the peas and cook just until tender and bright green (1-3 minutes, from fresh or frozen). Drain and place in a food processor.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, blend on high and taste to adjust seasoning if necessary. Say thank you and enjoy. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
