Smoothies are usually reserved for the warmer months for me and my body but every once in a while during the winter I crave a creamy, dreamy treat and this often does the trick. Blending together some of my favourite ingredients from all the seasons, this easy blend up is satisfying all year long. In the winter, I’d recommend letting frozen ingredients warm up a little before making or using fresh, not frozen berries and banana. In addition, I love having winter smoothies with a big pot of warm tea to help my body bring the cool nourishment up to body temp for better digestion.
