Some foundational pillars to our health:
1. Eat a balanced, whole food-based diet. Enjoy a variety of minimally-processed / unrefined vegetables and fruits, whole grains, beans and lentils, nuts and seeds, and animal-based proteins (if you eat them, try for conscious sources!).
2. Drink around 2 liters / quarts of pure water a day (tea and coffee do not count as water!).
3. Avoid excess alcohol, processed (white) sugar, and refined, and / or saturated fats.
4. Supplements that may help support your immune system include vitamins D3, zinc, vitamin C, medicinal mushrooms (chaga, reishi, Cordyceps, lions mane, turkey tail), quercetin, and melatonin.
5. Sleep, rest, and nervous-system management! Focus on a nightly routine to promote your transition into sleep.
6. Getting outside!
