This is my go-to house milk as it doesn’t require straining / a nut milk bag — all you need is a blender and you have a delicious dairy-free milk with no surprise ingredients in minutes!

Cashew + Hemp Milk
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup / 50g cashews
- pinch fine sea salt
- ⅓ cup / 50g hulled hemp hearts
- 4 cups / 1L water, filtered if possible
- Optional Add-Ins:
- dates
- vanilla
- salt
- spirulina
- cacao powder
Directions
- Soak cashews in filtered water with a pinch of salt for a minimum of 4 hours, or overnight.
- Drain and rinse cashews, add to a blender with the hemp seeds and water. Blend on high 30 seconds, until smooth and creamy.
- Store in the refrigerator for 3-5 days, shake before each use! Freeze any extra in ice cube trays for use in smoothies or at a later time.
