Ginger Mint Pear Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe pears, chopped and frozen if possible
  • 1 ripe avocado, flesh scooped out
  • cups / 35g firmly packed baby spinach
  • 1 cup / 250ml water
  • 2 tsp. minced ginger
  • Tbsp. freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 10-20 fresh mint leaves (to taste) or a couple drops peppermint extract

Directions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, enjoy!

Notes

Makes 3 cups / 700 ml (serves 1-2)
